Color of change

As the nation’s largest online racial justice organization,Color Of Change designs campaigns powerful enough to end practices that unfairly hold Black people back, moving decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.

The Brief

The brief was to create several social media graphics to be released on platforms like Facebook. Some of the campaigns include celebrating Black History Month, bringing awareness to the public about the new presidential administration, extending the #VotingWhileBlack branding to updates released during key races, as well as other matters of interest during the 2017 election period.

Understanding the Threat

This graphic is a weekly summary of events taking place with the new presidential administration. In making it clear and visually exciting to read, we developed iconography that would represent the larger issue affected at hand. Using brand colors while maintaining bold headlines, we hoped that this Facebook graphic would allow people to have a clearer idea of all that is taking place amidst turbulent times.

Voting While Black

Utilizing the self-titled hashtag, Voting While Black is a voter mobilization movement led by Color Of Change PAC. Amplifying Black voices, engaging Black voters in moving the needle on issues that are plaguing the country and holding elected officials accountable to communities are some of its goals.
